According to Edmunds that Yukon has a 5.3L engine even less than my 2012 6.0L engine. I can believe that it struggles up the hills because mine surely does. Tow Haul mode eliminates the 6th gear in mine which helps but it doesn't tow nearly as well as my old 8.1L
