Welcome to the world of travel trailer towing. Doesn't sound like your Yukon is struggling, it's just working hard, like it's supposed to. Wind resistence is your enemy, its kinda like running into the wind holding a 4' x'8' sheet of plywood in front of you. (There's also a vacuum created behind the TT that tries to suck the trailer backwards). Hopefully your Yukon has at least 3.73 gears, about minimum for TT towing (keeps the rpm's up where they need to be).
The weak part of the running gear is the transmission, make sure you have an auxillory cooler to keep it cool.
