Even the "bigger" tanks s uck. 36 gal tank combined with 40-50 mph headwinds was getting me like 9 mpg towing a couple weeks ago. Seemed I was looking for gas every 3 hours.
Sure the avg stretch is like 3 hours before taking a leak, but it's nice to just stop, take a p!ss on a off ramp n go and not have to fill up at every p!ss stop.
Ford deserves a gold star for their new 48 gal tanks. Still could be a bit bigger for road trips, but.......
Last Dmax before the dodge had the 26 gal tank plus every half ton I've had. Just dumb. Can drain a tank every 2 hours on the right day with them puny tanks.
