We picked one of these up from Cabelas for $425 a few weeks ago and boy is it nice. I had it in the back of the truck running the trailers air while working on the trailer when a neighbor came up to ask about it. It was only 4 ft from our heads and we talked while it ran. We were not talking in hushed tones but we were not screaming either.
As for the subject of the thread, it's great to hear someone has been using one for a few years. I'm a fan of any quieter generator for use in campgrounds. (solar makes mine VERY quiet)
