Smarter Tools AP-2000iq 2000w generator at Costco

Costco has the SmarterTools AP-2000iq for $599 its comparable in size to the Honda and it can be run in parallel.Has anyone had any experience with this generator, good or bad? At this price im tempte...

I look at these price leaders and see un-plated fuel systems, Aluminum windings. diodes vs. SCR's. There are hundreds of way to cut cost out of a generator.
