Snowed in, ready for Spring!!

Our last outing was in September.....maybe first will be April this year. No opportunities to go out camping with the sleds yet this winter.

Just when I hoped mother nature would be done...she sprinkles this! HIgh today 41º LOL!
The snow just stopped and now the melting begins....again!

It was 64F this morning with the wind blowing 30mph out of the south. All snow from the previous three weeks is GONE GONE!

I now enjoy going home from work and working on small project with the TC, motorhome, and two Case dozers.

X2!! In a normal year at my house (elevation 5,200) we actually have winter; complete with numerous snowstorms and freezing nights and days. We have had 2 small "dustings" of snow and one rain shower since last November. The mountain is dry, dry, dry and our beautiful forest will be VERY subject to fire, bark beetles, and all other drought forced problems at this rate.

Please send some snowy weather to me. Thanks.

Year to date we are over 64 inches and two stints of over 30 below zero. Been living with it for over 50 years, just learned to ski, snowmobile, ice fish, etc. Once you learn to deal with it, it can be a lot of fun. Besides it kills the bugs and is way better than tornados, 110 degrees, and huge crowds of people. Oh yeah, and sinkholes that eat corvettes!

All you people that live with bad weather for 4-6 months of your year, you can move and enjoy a year round life, lets see 5 months of terrible weather for 70 years equals, 10,500 days you could be having fun somewhere warm or 28 years of wasted life, just move, it's not hard
