What does rbpru's tow rating have to do with OP?
What does a 20 year old big block hp have to do with OP? That big block had 50% more peak torque at half the engine speed of modern V6s. Will any of the 2014 V4 with 6-8spd trans tow a 5000 pound loaded RV? Sure! Will the driver/owner of the truck be happy spinning at 3000rpm on flat highways and trans downshifts to 5000rpm for hills? I personally would not. OP has to decide for himself.
