Only in the thinkin stage so far. DW says go for it. My TV is 13 years old, and in really good shape. 77k. But is getting old. So found a 2013 F150 SuperCab with the 5.0, AND 3.73 rears with 37000...

The 5.0L is a good motor, but I have heard nothing but good things about the 3.7L EB motor. Tons of torque all the way through the RPM range.

Few 3.5 Ecoboosts have the 3.73. 3.55 is best I can find, and fewer still have more than a 7050lb GVWR package. Also I tow in the mountains a lot, and even though the EB has more power higher. I don't worry about goin up. I care more about coming down. the V6 has less braking than the V8. I like being able to come down the mountain using very little brakes, letting the engine hold me back.
Of course If I was buying new. I could order what I want. But I'm looking used. Have to give a little to get most of what I want. Plus if I don't get it. I ain't hurting. Nothing wrong with the 2004. Still runs, and looks great.
