2013 VW Touareg Sport TDI with the small 18" rims, about #4100 of Palomino Gazelle in a 21 foot TT behind me, set up with an Equalizer hitch.
You can see what I get running empty, and when I am trailering here, for MPG's.
16.5 to 19.5 MPG's depending on which way the wind is blowing, head wind or tail wind. That's real world, not guess-o-meter in the dash.
A good example would be to look at the fuel logs in Sept of 2015 here, for trailering MPG's.
