soft side pop up TC and wind

Those with a pop up TC is the wind an issue while camping. I tend to camp in windy areas, CA high desert and coast. While camped in the wind do the canvas sides flap to the point of driving one crazy.

I had a rather old tent trailer that would allow the wind and the sand to come through and it made getting a good nights sleep next to impossible. Trying to convince the DW that the newer canvas and shorter sides will not do this.
