Exactly what I did with my one farm tractor. Remember tractors have NO suspension so they ride ROUGH, especially when driving on dirt roads, which I do. Actually, Grammer is even better but even more costly.
My National bases even have grease fittings on the pivots.
I took a National Seating air ride base from a scrapped seat at the shop and mated my tractor seat to it. I had to add a small 12 volt compressor under the seat as well.
I happened to grab 4 bases when I got the one. All headed for the scrap yard. The ones I have swivel too. You can buy them new from Tractor seats.com but they aren't cheap.
Last time I checkd, the base alone was around 400 bucks. Mine were free.
Nice working at a truck dealership (or did), I'm retired now.
