Lots to think about and plan for the next time I work on the system. I think at this time I need to spend some more time with the new system to get a better idea of what is going on. It could be that I'm just interpreting the new solar charge controller status information incorrectly and my time with it is limited to not allow me to better understand how it is working.
The truck and camper are kept in indoor storage about 30 minutes away otherwise I would go out and start testing today (need to get out of the house while the bird cooks!) so I will just have to wait for a few weeks. When I report back I'll make certain to have actual voltages on everything instead of relying on memory just to be safe...
