Kindly quote me one authoritative source that uses the terms "voltage source" and "current source" in the same discussion, indicating that there is a difference. That does NOT include a statement posted on the net by someone of unknown reputation.
When I got my degrees and spent my 50 or so years in the electronics industry, part of which was at Bell Labs, those terms were not in common use. Maybe they are today. Things do change. But the underlying Physics does NOT change.
And I repeat that your use of those terms in the original post is just confusing for the untrained audience. Every power supply ever made is intended to supply CURRENT. (With the possible exception of a Van de Graaff generator which supplies very little current.)
