For 2-3 yr on the current camper go with the generator. Do you have a microwave or coffee maker? Most likely going to need 1500 -2000w generator. While there is no arguing the Honda or Yamaha is excellent. A cheaper generator that you could resell later would be ideal. Your next camper may have a built in generator. Buy enough power to keep your wife happy. Be sure your propane tanks are upto date before heading out. Don't wait until the last minute for propane fill.
