For the OP, be sure to swap out your sensors. Your Carbon Monoxide, Smoke and whatever else is on the camper. Sensors have a max lifespan. Friend nearly died due to bad/old sensors. He bought an older truck camper. Didn't swap the sensors. Bad heater introduced carbon monoxide to the truck camper. He stumbled out in the morning feeling noxious. Friends took him to the hospital where he was immediately admitted.
The rest of the event/trip he did without heat. Doubled up on blankets. Traded in the camper one week later for new unit.
