I keep seeing people here posting as if you can run things only off of solar panel... While it's possible it would not be convenient to say the least and def not consistent. Going only solar would mean having a huge battery bank and a good size inverter if you wish to have AC power for appliances etc.. Then you would need enough solar panels to keep the batteries charged.
