Harbor freight has a 145 watt 3 panel kit with a cheap charge controller that I got on sale for $140.
When we went camping on Memorial Day weekend we were dry camping. It was cold at night and we ran the heat all 3 nights, Used lights and water pump as needed, along with having the stereo playing most of the weekend.
I'm not a solar Guru but I can say this got us through a long weekend with no issues at all, though my batteries were pretty weak when we packed up Monday to come home.
Maybe this will do what you need it to.
I am looking at the same kit. Let me ask how you installed it. Did you just connect it directly to the batteries?
I actually have 2 batteries. Both 12 volt troling motor batteries. One is in stock location behind the LP tanks, the other is in my pass thru.
I hooked the controller to the battery in my pass through and left it inside the door with the wires running out to the panels. I assembled it at home, and ot only took 10 or 15 minutes to have it set up and running.
