Do you mean like a Goal Zero? They are pretty expensive for the power they deliver. If you want power for your camper you can do a lot better building a system yourself. If you want an all in one portable system they have some appeal. Personally I would still build my own. There are several youtube videos on the subject.

It's for "intermittent" high wattage usage with the use of inverter.

The usage is from the battery and definitely will reach the point where replenishment (recharging ) will not catch up with the drawdown.

The word generator is a misnomer.

For best value and function buy your own separate components.

Most kits and especially those 'solar generators' have stuff you don't need or is inadequate and then you are back to spending money for what you actually need.

'Solar generator' is a ripoff for the unwary. A 90 ah battery is a joke.

Solar discussions usually occur in Tech issues, not Truck campers.

Most 27 series 12V deep cycle batteries are around 90ah. I run 2 of them.
my last camper (wolf creek) only a pair of 27 series fit. When I bought my AF 990 I kept my batteries. They work well for me with 200w of solar in summer, and 300w of solar in fall.

I know that you are tight on space being a TC but in our TT I have 428 watts solar, Morning Star PWM 45 Controller, Trimetric Battery Monitor and 2 Trojan t125 flooded batteries. We can do what we want except run the ac. We could use microwave but that's a big drain.

Buy your own components. I would start with 200 watts solar and make sure its expandable, A morning star mppt controller. That's more expensive but it squeezes more amps and the trimetric battery meter. As far as batteries if you can fit the two 6 volt trojans you will not be disappointment, but space is tight so perhaps a single large AGM. Hope this helps

Pretty expensive and you still have to make mounting brackets !
