Technically the 10, 12, and 14 guage wires to the 7 pin are not properly protected. That risk can be minimized by making sure they are well protected mechanically by sheathing them very well. The short length helps in that regard.
Otherwise it looks like a solid design to me.
To AnEv942, the controller is protected by the breaker near the battery. Contrary to what some folks say, it doesn't need any protection on its output side from its own current output since it is current-limited, as are the solar panels. On a system this small, no protection is needed there if the wires are big enough to handle the current, as these are.
