Looks like the mounting holes are missing in the new body. Looks like there's only slots for the blanking panel. There's no towing mirror for the 1500s. Only a trailer camera system that gives you a towing mirror view. The mirror on the 2500 in the previously posted picture is a towing mirror. If you wanted to switch to the old style, you'd have a pretty big hole to fill in the door.
