I have a truck camper and live in Southeastern British Columbia. I know four other couples who have truck campers as well. Three out of the four chose this type of unit because of its ability to go where no other RV should (can) go. More than half of my forty or so nights camping each year are spent in places with narrow, rough industrial road access. I like the fact everything goes with me and I can choose to camp wherever I find a place that I like.
