Growing up and living on the Gulf Coast most of my life, i don't recall really ever being aware of truck campers. I tented for years and carried a tent on motorcycle trips. Got old the older i got. Any time i considered a camper, i would think trailer or class c. Lo and behold, my wife and i were camping near Pikes Peak in a National Forest campground, and in backs a F 450 carrying a Lance. I kept looking at the rig. The couple said " You want to see it?" Of course we did. I have never considered not having a TC since.
