TC's are fairly common here in Michigan, maybe due to all the out-of-the-way Forest Service Campgrounds and State Game Areas that most larger RVs won't fit into (and why *I* want one...LOL!) But it all fairness - they are EXPENSIVE compared to a trailer. If I just wanted to camp in parks or open spaces, a trailer offers a lot more square footage and can be pulled by a large SUV, for example.
