Jim it was a 1998 2500. funny thing was we joined the alpenlite travel club and the first man we talked to had a 96 2500 dodge. I explained how poor my brake story was and he said everybody knows you need to installed GM brakes on a dodge. He had done this earlier. All true but I thought it was odd except of how poor our brakes had been.

It hit me this morning another reason for selling the 2500 truck. We wanted a new 35 ft alpenlite and I felt the 2500 was not enough truck to handle the bigger fifthwheel. The 32 ft was a good match for the 2500 so when the brakes sucked so bad it was a no brainer to get a bigger truck and of course the dually was the only choice no matter the brand.
