What are the risks from just getting the plug in "good and tight" like you would "normally" instead of to the proper torque?
I would find an INCH/LB torque wrench...not a FT/LB tq wrench...
One is a sledge hammer and one is a brad nailer...your spark plugs need to TQ to 15 FT/LBS...the convert that to inch/lbs by multiplying by 12...
12*15=180 inch lbs...my IN/LB tq wrench goes up 200 in/lbs so 180 is no problem. It's more appropriate tool for the job.
You can easily get by with hand tight and then just a little more...many people have for years...but with the right tool you can KNOW it's in there right.
