Suggestions:
Use 3/8" drive socket set and get the plug socket with an insert (foam and some
rubber)
Make sure to hold the socket wrench at the plug end while tightening to keep
it centered...off center can crack the ceramic body of the plug...3/8"
because 1/2" some times are too big in tight places
use a length of hose to screw in the plugs...especially hard to get to
use anti-seize on the plug thread...I've had to use a breaker bar to loosen some plugs
Make sure to 'twist' the plug boots off. They valconize to the plug over time
I use a tiny squirt of WD40 inside the boot before reinstalling on the plug
Have a 2x8 plank with foam duct-taped to the ends that touch the fenders. This
is what I lay on while working on the engine. Beats leaning over for hours to
then get a back ache. Used that plank up on a project and will make another
and noodling several 2x4's held together (cheaper than 2x8)
