NO power washer on my RV either. With Power Washer, way too much risk of blowing water into existing cracks and/or opening existing cracks / seams even more.
For EDPM roof cleaning I've tried liquid Spic&Span a few times. It didn't work very well. I then used Dicor EDPM rool cleaner and it worked much better.
For cleaning sides, I use diluted dish soap and rinse clean. The next day (after drying), I then apply NuFinish (
- click here - ) via manual wax on / wax off method.
Does this help? I then spray water on roof and sides and water instantly beads up and runs off. Dramatic reduction of black streaks and when black streaks needs removing, they come off very easy.
For roof and sides, I clean every 6 months. Works for me.
