Narrow "pizza cutter" tires are good to a point. Too narrow can be a hindrance also, I had studded 235's once, never again. They were terrible compared to a decent common 265 width tire. Your 245's should be fine with the weight of a camper helping traction in ordinary snow, just remember the increased stopping distance and go slower on corners to prevent pushing.
