SRW 4X4, Camper, 19.5's in the Snow?
Heading out Thursday with 3-6" of snow in the forecast. We don't get much snow around here and have never driven my camper with 19.5's in the snow. What should I expect? I'll bring chains, just curios...

Narrow "pizza cutter" tires are good to a point. Too narrow can be a hindrance also, I had studded 235's once, never again. They were terrible compared to a decent common 265 width tire. Your 245's should be fine with the weight of a camper helping traction in ordinary snow, just remember the increased stopping distance and go slower on corners to prevent pushing.

I remember being in Anchorage one year for work, when the first snow of the season was forecast. Made the comment to a local that at least I didn't need to worry about "The other Drivers" up here. He just laughed and said, "They forget how to drive over the summer"!!!!
