To me it's like many things in life: what can I do to improve my odds of success ?
When it comes to tires for my trailer, we know that LT ( or even P ) tires are built and tested to a higher standard. That at least suggests that the likelhood of a better quality product is the result. Which quite likely can be extended to a greater likelihood of success in use.
Good enough way of looking at it for me.
For those buyers who simply want to choose by the lowest retail pricepoint, there are inexpensive tires on the market to fill that need. Go for it.
