ST trailer tire 75 mph rated
For those who prefer to tow a little faster than 65 mph, as well as for those who would like some extra cushion in their tires' speed rating, I recently learned that Hercules ST tires are rated for 75...

And that's true, the new OE trailers will be coming with ST's for quite some time.
But that doesn't stop the consumer from changing from ST to LT, and that is what these threads are always about. Looking in the manual for instance for my 4star horse trailer, my Titan horse trailer, and my LoadMax equipment trailer, they all state that either ST or LT tires are appropriate fitment.
My rv also states either ST or LT in the manual .
A LT tire costs a bit more than a ST tire , but over the expected life of a tire it much cheaper ,almost 1/2 the cost . Why ? You dont need to replace the LT in 3 to 5 years .As opposed to a ST tire .
