Those were the biggest PITA ever, I'm glad mine are gone now!

For awhile I carried a pair of them in the pass-thru just in case, but never used them so out to the dump they went.

We have BAL stabilizer jacks at the corners. Also use 2 BAL scissor jacks if necessary. I carry the scissors in the truck.

I use four scissor jacks, two on each side just behind and just in front of the wheels. Allows easy final leveling / fine adjustment.

I use two scissor jacks at the front corners (but wish they were just A-arm types)

I use two A-arm types at the back corners, where it is unsafe to put too much force on the frame, just to stabilize.

This summer I added one A-arm type (since I had a spare in my garage) right at the steps, that made a HUGE difference in the stability of the trailer. No more shaking when people come in and out of the trailer. I'm only 150 lbs and I'm the heaviest member of the family, but there was still a lot of movement in the trailer when I came in and out on those steps.

My 2013 came with electric angle. Once leveled, I simply push a button. LOL

If you are talking about the old single ones that were on my old pop up, I much prefer the newer scissor type that are on my TT.
They are easier to crank down, plus much more stable

If you are talking about the type that has a single leg, rather than scissors type: I have had both on the same trailer. The single leg ones are lighter, cheaper, and not as effective. They came as original equipment.

I changed all four out to scissors type.

I'll take the angled jacks mounted so they face side to side.

I have the old style scissor type and my observation is the newer style appears to be a better design to prevent movement.

Which are the old kind? When I started camping trailers didn't have stab jacks attached, we used stack jacks which were a real nuisance. Anything permanently attached is worlds better.
