Could you elaborate on why I am going way out of your comfort zone? Below you mentioned this. I am not trying to debate this. Have no experience so I'm trying to learn, and do things the right way the first time. I have a V8 4Runner with a weight-distributing heavy-duty hitch rated to either carry 700+ lbs or handle 1,100 lbs of tongue weight. The reason I though a WD hitch would be good is to not sag the rear end of the 4Runner as much. I do not have rear suspension airbags, so figured that a WD setup would give me better handling. Anyway, please elaborate on what you meant or what I may be doing incorrectly.

3. you shouldn't have much trouble. id go with a basic weight distributing hitch and a separate friction sway bar (same as I have for my f150 and 4500lb prowler 19E)
