Our HTT had stabilizers very similar to the black ones pictured in an above post. Our new TT has scissors jacks and DH is less than impressed with them...he feels like the other ones were sturdier and more stable. Our TT is much higher off the ground than the HTT, but he's thinking of checking after we get through the holidays to see if they are available in a longer length. They were a hand-crank type, but he always turned the torque down and used a cordless drill. We may be changing if he can find those that will work with our TT. And, yes, they are for stabilizing only, not leveling.
I can post measurements later. My TT sits lower than most newer TT. - dadmomhExplorerOur HTT had stabilizers very similar to the black ones pictured in an above post. - 1budaExplorerSee I need to replace two scissor jacks anyways. For the price of two Scissor jacks I can purchase four of the swing down stabilizers.
- wmosesExplorerNo need if that is the one you have. There are several types and operation and robustness varies.
I had the one shown on my popup and it worked just fine. Very robust also. - the_happiestcamExplorerI used these on my old trailer - pretty simple and easy, no installation, and not expensive. The long footprint really helps.

I found a set of four on eBay for a reasonable price. Has anyone have experienced using them?
TIA
Where is the link to the eBay sale? You'll get more targeted responses if we know which ones you are talking about. :)
There's a picture above. I'll get you the link if you really want. - wmosesExplorer

Legs "swings" down as deployed for leveling,up for retraction and transit. About $1700 IIRC.
- 1budaExplorerYes I have stabilizers but two of them need replaced badly. I'd use them as to stabilize the TT not Level it out.
- fla-gypsyExplorerThe only swing down jacks I am familiar with are common to PUP campers and are not suitable for a TT.
