Stableload alternative

If it was round and was in the same place as a stableload, people have used bump stomps of a few different materials from Energy Suspension ones like I have to hockey pucks. The goal is just to engage the overloads sooner any material will work. Some people add 2 x 2 steel to the perch.

Some of the people here started making their own before stableloads existed.
