With the headlights comment and since you think it rides really stable, I'll assume the weight of the camper is engaging the upper overload spring sufficiently.
I'd prefer to have as stiff a ride as possible with less body roll.
In your situation think I'd still be inclined to put upper stable loads on it just to get back a bit of ride height and little extra stability.
Especially since it's gonna be your full time rig
