I think it comes down to what you will use the truck for when not towing, and what you prefer. Also consider your weight requirements. I got by with short bed for a long time. Lost a rear window so went to a slider hitch, which I loved. 'realized the need for DRW so no I have a long bed and a Puck B&W. I can't believe the difference. The DRW handles like a dream, even parking and turning sharp. I also love the simplicity of the B&W hitch and how easy it hooks and unhooks. Also very easy to remove from bed if I need too. One other big plus is all the room I have in the bed for odds and ends when towing, that I did not have with a short bed. Just my thoughts.
