Standard vs long bed
I'm looking to purchase a truck that will eventually be needed to pull a 5'er and would prefer to get a standard length bed (6'4") for reasons I won't go into here, but wanted the forum's opinion abou...

I agree. I always think it is funny when people seem so concerned about buying something that the next owner will want.
That's because they can't stand not having a new vehicle every 2-3 years, and when you get into that cycle you need to have one eye on resale value.
You'd get a lower % of original list on a 2 year old 4x2 regular cab longbed that only a few people would want, than you would a 4x4 extended cab shortbed that will sell quickly.
