48v battery bank presents a couple challenges.
To build a 48v bank you will need enough series cabled batteries. (4) 12v or (2) 24v. Many TC's don't have the space for that.
Your solar array will need to produce more than 48 volts. That could be (2) 72 cell panels although too big for most TC roofs or (4) 12v panels. Depending on the TC that could also be tough.
Another issue will be selecting 48v inverters. They are made but more limited selection and sometimes a little more expensive.
Last issue is that you will need a 48v to 12v step down to run the dc side of the camper. Again not a deal breaker but does add cost, complexity and possible space constraints on a TC.
