Looks great, the projects definitely have a way of snow balling.
Got into a similar situation with a 26 Gulf Stream . I knew the front corners were bad when purchasing, but figured I could just peel back a bit as you had planed.
Into it about 3 days now, The front was the worst. It appears the front termination bar was not secured to the framing, just to the 1/4" underlayment. The edges were bad down both sides for about 12 in (that would be up on a tapered roof). The water has all wicked up due to a bad calk seam on top of the side rain gutters coupled with a fabric backed TPO and unsealed underlayment.
Ended up doing a compete tear off as the old underlayment stuck to the fabric wherever it was heavily rotted. It was far easier to remove the still bonded section by cutting long 6 to 12" strips. Got the underlayment replaced this long weekend , sealed the edges with plywood sealer, than added a bead of lap sealant to fill the gaps, then covered this with a Sikaseal 4" tape to assure a smooth corner and no chance of leaks from top or bottom. Also trimmed the front faring a few inches so it will terminate on a sturdy framing member. Luckily the damage does not appear to have traveled down into the sides and only one front sheet of ceiling panel needs to be replaced. I took a lot of extra time "prepping" the areas on the sides where the rain gutter will reattach, Removed all the old sealants and scuffed then chem wiped the source for maximum adhesion. New EPDM is on order , along with a whole list of other stuff that needs to be replaced. , hope to get the membrane back on this coming weekend. I do not want to hijack your thread, please keep us posted.
Question , can anyone share a place to get replacement ceiling panels with the vinyl on them or a supplier for the sheet vinyl? Not having much luck on the net with my searches.
