Lake Erie State Park is clean and very well kept. Not much shade though. Fredonia is about 10 miles North on Rt.20 Lots of restaurants and bars if that's your kind of thing. Erie, PA is a short drive West where there's a lot more to see and do. Not really any Cons that I'm aware of.

Late in the season call tge park rangers and ask about the seaweed, smell can be bad. Good thing is it only happens at times, not all season.
