Agree 100% here. I would take the ins co deal all day long. If everything works, you can go camping right away, and when you sell in a few years you'll probably get $4k for it, that camper doesn't owe you anything. If it turns out it has major concealed damage, you can get $2k back just parting it out and then scrap the rest. There is risk here but it's minimal IMO.
