As long as the push/pull is as a single unit, you should be fine.. There really isn't anything you can do to totally prevent it since it's air that is doing the pushing/pulling and you have a huge surface area for it to do that with..
I feel that sensation when not towing anything, so how do you prevent that??
If you take too much off the rear axle back to the front, you could lose traction on the rear tires if it's wet out and going up an incline from a stop.. Mine does that and I've popped it into 4wd when I'm in that situation and it works well..
Anyway, don't over adjust, since you can also go the other way too...
