Frankly it wouldn't hurt to try to restore that last 180lbs.
I suspect you're borderline "floaty" on the front, and all it takes is a little wind from passing cars to put you over the edge.
While 180lbs "shouldn't" be a big deal you also have to remember that you are towing the broad side of a barn down the road and any little puff of wind will be amplified.
