I pulled a 30ft 9000lb TT with a 3/4T YukonXL for years, and a 1T duramax for the last year with an Equilizer hitch. After tuning it and having the TT *slightly* nose-down I thought it towed great. Many years and many miles. It did have that 'suck-in/out' when a semi going 75mph came by me - this was a little scary when I didn't see him coming, otherwise not a big deal. I was happy.
This spring we changed to a 5th wheel. End of suck-in/out and now I really know what towing nicely is. I could be satisfied towing a TT again, but never again 'happy.'
