storing travel trailer nose high

We do have snow. I should be able to brush some/most? of it off, but I will not be able to get at the trailer all the time.

But I don't like the idea of a roof tarp as it might trap water/ice/snow underneath, and it would block my vent. The vent is covered (MaxxAir) so I'd planned to leave it open halfway for interior ventilation. This has worked well at other times of the year.

Tilting the trailer is a good idea. Will do that as well.

I store my with nose up. The roof is doomed and we very rarely have a lot of snow. Ice is my biggest worry. I want the water off asap.

I just cover my roof with a tarp . Why ? When you get a good 8in and above snow storm , followed by rain , the snow sucks up the water , it can come splashing in your AC unit , vents , etc.

Been storing mine nose down a tad, batteries fully charged and disconnected, tires inflated to proper pressure, washed and waxed..My tire guy said, weather permitting, should move trailer every few weeks. So when we get a break in weather during winter, after checking tire pressure, will take her out for a spin down the freeway, bring home and hook up to shore power and do a visual inspection too. Have it stored under roof.. :)

Like dodge guy said in the above post. "so unless someone runs into it or there is a tornado coming, it shouldn't bend"

Plus, if your wheels are chocked correctly, it shouldn't roll. Thus causing the tube in the tongue jack to bend.

Yep that is about the only place there would be any strain. so unless someone runs into it or there is a tornado coming, it shouldn`t bend. I have stored mine fully extended for 5 years and it has no issues.

That's what I do. Crank her up as far as she'll go and call it good.
