Story behind F450 pickup frame failure? (photo)

This photo was discussed in the "slide-in camper" forum about two months ago.
I did a image search on the web and could only find it posted one other place. . .some guy on Twitter posted it.
I contacted him about getting his okay to use it - he said okay but I failed to ask if it was his photo or it's background. (got busy with other stuff).
I'll try to located the source if anyone is interested.
