I had this happen to me. The bolt (3/8 by 3 inches) was picked up on the highway.
My TMPS was showing a slow loss of pressure. I was on I40 going toward Kingman AZ. A very busy highway with a lot of truck traffic.
Not a good place to replace a tire on a 5th wheel on the side of the road..
I was able to make the next exit while still having good tire pressure but I am sure if I had continued without knowing I had a tire in trouble the tire and possibly part of my trailer would have been destroyed.
But more important I was able to safely get off a very busy freeway and find some shade to install a spare tire in 100+ degree Arizona temperatures.
