- cj7365Exploreron the TST flow through system, can you still use your valve stem extensions or do these have to come off??
if you use the valve stem extension do you put the monitoring device before or after the valve stem extension?
ok never mind, I just got done watching the video v - JimM68ExplorerI've run TST since 2010.
I replaced the entire system on my dime once, the monitor failed and I knew it was out of warrantee.
I called for support twice, spoke with the owner of the company, and got my problems resolved.
The second system I ordered direct, got a custom set of mixed flow thru and not sensors.
Both systems included a higain antenna, and that worked to bring in the toad pressures, no repeater needed. - KidooExplorerHere is one from China:

This one from USA...sure. Even the picture is on the same view...

EDIT: I just "developed" my own TPMS system and sent the schematics off to my "own factory" (outsourced) in China where they will manufacture it and print the instructions in broken English.
Patent Pending.
Once you get the patent, head on over to Shark Tank...make a fortune for those donkeys....:W....Dennis - SCVJeffExplorerThat's exactly why I only buy from China on eBay. I have had a few issues and they simply send another item. Negative reviews on eBay are like Kryptonite to any merchant in China often their entire business is via eBay.

I just bought two Porter Cable LiH batteries from a vender in China. ($60 compared to $95 on Amazon). One works (so far), one does not. Vender says send it back and we will replace it. Best price to send the battery back so far is $55.
Big Mistake!
If you happened to pay by PayPal, file a complaint through them. I did this on a Chinese product for the same reason as you (return shipping cost) and the Chinese vendor replaced the product free. - KidooExplorer

They're getting so clever in their wording:
"HCI developed the TPMS systems in USA by in-house engineers and make all products in its own factories."

Probably, it's like "package in USA" but built in China! - turbojimmyExplorerI've been looking at this one:

Patent Pending. - SCVJeffExplorerExactly.. Its a stand-alone box: no cameras, no processor, no external control or interface. Its a pressure monitor, period. Besides, it wouldnt suprise me in the least if most if not all TPMS systems are built or part sourced from China. Fine, but I sure wouldnt buy one direct.

Seriously ?
The Chinese data processer provided as part of the monitoring system is likely to have spyware imbedded in it that will search your engine monitoring system and wifi driven computers. Do not take inappropriate selfies or exceed the speed limit as it will be posted on the net.
WOW....
I'm not a tinfoil hat guy, seriously. But Chinese firmware, and most certainly spyware, is rampant in our electronics. Smart, sane people worry about our telecom backbone, our power grid.
However, last time I checked, I don't recall anyone bringing up a TPMS system as a major concern. :)
If you think about it, there are a dozen other easier ways to track you, infect your car than thru a TPMS system.
A Chinese hacked TPMS system doesn't make my list of worries.
