If you have not bought a truck yet just buy a long bed and save all the headaches!
Head aches with one's HOA are much worst than the head aches presented by a SB truck! Ask me how I know that in spades? Chris
Yea I know! If there are no restrictions a LB can make life easier, maybe!!!
Hauled several types/lengths/dry weight 5ers as a RV transporter from October 2015 to mid May 2016 with a SB and a "required" slider FW hitch, not once did I have to operate that "slider", nor did I have any issues backing said 5ers at either the dealer or in any of the Pilots/Flying J rig parking lots. Many occasions of doing U-turns within the parking lots trying to find a spot for the night to park.
